What We Offer

The Orchard Day Nursery Kew has a capacity of 65 children aged between 3 months and 5 years. We are open 51 weeks in a year, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). The sessions we offer are:

Full days: 7am -7pm
Mornings only: 7am-1pm
Afternoons only:1pm-7pm

All children must be signed up for a minimum of 3 sessions or 2 full days per week. We also offer term-time only spaces.

Registration Process & Fee

We have a simple registration process to enrol new children at the nursery. Registration process starts once you have booked your show around. If you haven’t already had a look around the nursery, you are very welcome to book an appointment and a member of our management team will show you around and give you all of the information you require.

Please enquire about registration here.

Following your visit if you decide that The Orchard Day Nursery is the right nursery for your child we would require a signed registration form  and Tc & Cs.

We have a non-refundable registration fee of £75, which must be paid at the time of registration before a child can be officially registered, placed on the waiting list and considered for a place.

Following registration, we will write to you informing you that your child has been placed on the waiting list. You will be required to pay the deposit within four weeks of our letter. Once your payment has been received and processed your place will be confirmed.

If you do not send your deposit and confirm the place offered you will be placed back on the waiting list and the next child on the waiting list will be offered your space. Your child will remain registered until either you accept the place offered or confirm in writing that you would like your child removed from the list.

Deposit

A £500 deposit must be paid within 4 weeks of being offered a confirmed place. This will be held on your child’s fee account and will be refunded the month after your child leaves. We have the right to use the deposit towards any outstanding fees when the child leaves. This will be detailed to you at the time of your notice being submitted.

What happens next

After registration has been completed, we will send you a welcome letter inviting you and your child to a settling-in session to meet the staff and get familiar with the environments before they start for the whole day. We recommend that parents leave the child for these settling-in sessions after the initial discussions with the key person (please note there is no charge for these sessions).
