Celebrating Success at The Orchard Day Nursery Kew!
We are thrilled to share that The Orchard Day Nursery Kew has been rated “Good” in all areas in their recent Ofsted inspection on 6th June 2025!
This is a fantastic achievement and a significant step up from their previous inspection — a true testament to the team’s hard work, passion, and unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality care and education.
Highlights from the Ofsted report include:
- A warm and welcoming environment where children feel happy and eager to learn
- Strong, individualised support for children, especially those learning English as an additional language
- A rich and engaging curriculum that supports good progress
- An inclusive approach for all children, including those with SEND
- Positive behaviour and growing independence among the children
- Strong partnerships with parents, with valuable guidance offered around routines, nutrition, and more

- The team is already working on enhancing opportunities for:
- Older children to manage minor conflicts with gentle support
- Younger children to practice independence during daily routines like mealtimes
